Good Place to Start January 13, 2009 ALT (Anchorage AK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this book so that I could get some of the basics down before taking some college Anatomy/Physiology classes. Most of the book is easy to follow and it does cover the basics of the differnt systems in the body. Some of the chemical charts may be confusing to understand. Overall this book served my purpose and I feel I have a good foundation for my college classes. Pretty much anyone with a highschool level of education should beable to follow most of this book espcially if the topic interests you.
Good Overview before Class November 24, 2008 Amazon Lover (Florida) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found this to be a really good overview of the A&P basics before starting the class. I understood what the professor was talking about from day 1 because I read this book before the class started. Having the learning curve reduced in a difficult class certainly makes a huge difference grade wise. I have the kindle version and while the graphics are not the best, I found that reading it with Netter's flashcards along side was extremely helpful (and very compatable while traveling). Overall I would highly recommend this book as a good general overview for all students who are required to take A&P for school.

Borrowed this book from a friend. Found it pretty much worthless. Save your money. You can learn more from an on-line tutorial.
great August 24, 2008 D. Conn (florida) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this to refresh my memory for nursing school... it is informative and my 6 yr old son also loved the illustrations and bugs me to teach him more!
Good read but hit and miss if you are taking Anatomy & Physiology July 30, 2008 Linda Globus (CA, USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
A good book to read if you are not using it to supplement your Anatomy & Physiology Reference book. It missed so much important information that will be relevant to your class or specially your exam. If you are trying to get an A in your Anatomy & Physiology to get into Nursing, Not the right supplement for your studying. You are better off to buy Cliff Notes or just read your book from school - do not waste your money.
