If you like money and comics you will love this book. The title of this book is Lunch Money and it was written by Andrew Clements. A boy named Gregory Kenton who is in fifth grade and loves money is the main character. Greg`s problem is someone is always copying his ideas. Greg knows that it`s someone he knows. Greg soon finds out that it is Maura Shaw. Greg is talented with money.

In the begining of the story Greg knows he is good with money and wants to become rich. Greg has been able to earn money by cleaning his brothers' rooms. Next, he makes a lemonade stand and this girl copies him and also makes a lemonade stand. To find out what happens read this interesting book.

The theme in this book is don't judge people by what they do. This book reminded me of the world because everybody wants to make money. Girls and boys in fourth and fifth grade would love this book.

5 out of 5 stars Possibly the greatest book ever!   April 19, 2006
Greg Kenton always loved money and earning it. But just recently he noticed how much money could be earned at school. All he needs is the right thing to sell. Toys? He'd get in trouble. Comics? Of course! Comics are close enough to books to sell in school. But when his life-long rival, Maura Shaw, comes in, it's more than a problem. Read this humorous business story today! It is truly an amazing book, but that's not a surprise for Andrew Clements.

My son thought that Lunch Money was a really good book. It's his favorite Clements book so far.(: He liked everything about it, especially the last few chapters where Greg and Maura are in the school committee trying the find out if they will be allowed to sell comic books.

I give this book 5 stars because it is easy to follow right from the start. It is about a boy named Greg Kenton who loves money. Ever since he was little boy he has been trying to fufill his greatest dream ever to become rich. In sixth grade he decides to sell miny comics that he makes himself. It is the perfect plan until his enemy Maura starts selling comics too. Will he learn t owork with Maura or will his money making scheme go down the drain.

Have you ever loved money so much that you would do just about anything to get it? Well that's what a boy named Greg Kenton does in the book "Lunch Money." As a two year old Greg decided to do chores for his family at the price of a nickel. When he got older, he had made tons and tons of money. His brothers always ask him for money to go to the movies or something like that. He is his own bank. If he loans someone money, he has to get it back in a week, or he'll charge a nickel for late fees. When he puts his money in an actual bank, he has about four thousand dollars! Later in his life when he turns eleven, he tries to sell toys at school, but that doesn't turn out that well. Over the summer he makes these great little comic books. When school starts again, he tries to sell the comics for twenty five cents each. He notices that somebody else is selling comic books. He finally figures out who it is. If you read this great story, you will figure out who this mystery person is. The book Lunch Money is my favorite book I've ever read.
