More of a Good Thing. January 4, 2007 Dan Mueller (Colorado Springs, CO USA) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
If you haven't already read Dr. A'Damos other books, it's OK. You can start with this one. It has more updated information than "Eat right for your Type". In my opinion, this book is a lifesaver. I not only lost weight effortlessly by eliminating "Avoids" from my diet, but I also required less sleep, and my Cat Allergy became dormant. Since I got lazy, and started eating Foods that I should Avoid... The cat allergy was the first thing to come back. I've put on a few pounds as well, to be truthful. I can tell the world, from personal experience, that if you follow exactly what is contained in this book, there will be tangible benefits.
This book helped me to make my life better! December 19, 2006 A. Utick (Missoula, Montana, USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I don't want to go on for too long, because much of my experience has been documented by others in previous reviews. But, here is what I thought:
This book confirmed a lot of what I already suspected about myself, but gave me reasoning to make a change for the better. I am a type O. I had tried being vegetarian many times, and couldn't do it. I thought I might be sensitive to wheat, I knew I needed red meat, I am already allergic to dairy, etc. But, this book gave reasonings, and helped me further my understanding of my own body.
I've been doing this for almost 6 months. Not diehard, not by the book (so to speak) but in general I stick to it. I almost never have wheat, I never have dairy, i try to eat meat everyday and not eat sugar. Coffee has been the hardest thing to give up. How do I feel? The best I've ever felt. I feel amazing! I used to have a lot of digestive problems, now I seriosly have NONE, I feel energetic, I've lost a little weight (although that wasn't my goal). I just feel better. And I owe it to this book!
Not very well organized book August 18, 2006 Genevieve (Laramie, Wyoming United States) 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
Bought it out of curiosity and didn't like as a book. If you were to follow their sugestions, you would need to make a lot of notes trying to make sense out of it.
You only need to read a fourth of the book February 23, 2006 bernie (Arlington, Texas) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
One great advantage of a book like this is that you only need to read the fourth with your blood type. That way you will not be jealous of the other three fourths.
All kidding aside, the book has way too much depth to synthesize in the few paragraphs of a review. This is an extension to the theory put forward in the work called "Eat Right 4 Your Type". You can start with this book as it will recap the key points and definitions used.
Whether this like astrology (which has in-depth ephemeris) or actually empirical testing (many sighted in the back of the book), Dr. Peter J. D'Amato hit the nail on the head for me. It is spooky.
However many people can not be just typed in a hand full of classes and the book makes no effort to do so; it just gives passable examples and probable solutions to helping you live long and prosper.
I just lucked out and got the blood type I wanted to match, so I did not have to change life styles.
MAKES SENSE ..LIVE RIGHT FOR YOUR BLOOD TYPE September 19, 2005 KATHLEEN R. SMITH (BROOKLYN CENTER, MN United States) 5 out of 9 found this review helpful

PRICED RIGHT...BOOK IS PHENOMENOL HEALTH RESOURCE IF U ARE REALLY LOOKING TO BE WELL ... YOU GOT NOTHING TO LOOSE AND THE WORLD TO BE GAINED BY TRYING IT. GOT THE BOOK FAST AND WAS IN GOOD SHAPE TOO
