My Aunt is a nursing instructor and told me "You have to have an Ackley" so I got the book and am very glad that I did. As a new nursing student it is very helpful

I have only had this book a few weeks and I have already used it quite a bit. It is very helpful in getting ready for clinicals and also some class work. I like the way it is organized and the information it contains. I would recommend this book as one that is helpful to buy and that you will use. I'm really glad I followed the advice of the other positive reviewers and purchased it.

I won't speak long. I am baffled that this book wasn't a required text in my school's Nursing program. I have seen others in my school's library and some that friends refered. But this has the distinction of being both detailed and concise. By concise, I don't mean that the books info is truncated or shortened. However there is more than verbage to satisfy the curiosity of any student while not being over their head. Elsevier-Mosby rocks!
