Exercise the Body and Reward the Brain August 6, 2009 William B. Rodenhi (Los Osos, Calif) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Enjoyed this book because it was well written and understandable. It shows how aerobic exercise can have such a huge impact on your personality, on how you think and respond. This should be required reading for anyone dealing with children. It should be read and reread and notes taken. Do yourself and favor and read this book!
Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain August 4, 2009 Vicki Allen (TN) This book proves what we always felt about the benefits of exercise with research. It also, gives some tips on how to improve your exercise routine.
It does use a lot of medical jargon, which to the layman might not stick, so after borrowing a friends copy I got my own to have for reference.
Read This- If You Don't Routinely Exercise Then You Never Will!! July 11, 2009 J. Johnson (Columbia, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book reinforced what I have found to be true in my own life! Each AND every physician should, without a doubt, recommend rigorous exercise of some type for their patients. Not only does routine rigorous exercise help you THINK better, it helps you feel better about yourself, be more positive, less depressed, leaner and just sharper over all. People ignore exercise because it requires work. It requires effort. Most people would rather eat poorly and remain lazy, it's human nature. This book provides clear, scientific PROOF of what I really knew. I have recommended it to friends and relatives. Exercise simply helps us live longer, have fewer physical and mental problems, and give us an overall brighter attitude. I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone and everyone.
Spark July 4, 2009 Bobbi (MN ,USA) The book is very informative and inspiring. I am very happy to add it to my personal library. I plan to use it often.

truly thought-provoking and very interesting. If you sometimes get lazy about exercising, this book will make you realize it's as important for your brain as for your body. great stuff!
