Price Gouging June 29, 2009 Cope (Florida) 8 out of 33 found this review helpful
When I saw the Kindle price for "Swimsuit" by Patterson I couldn't believe it.Every day when approached regarding the Kindle low price for the reading materials is paramount in my extolleing of the product.A cynical friend of mine told me you guys were just suckering us in.It appears that he was right. Some one should ask the BBB(Better Business Bureau,Attorney general somebaody is this a correct practice.
Outrageous June 29, 2009 Paul Westhorpe (Florida) 7 out of 33 found this review helpful
Like everyone else I to am outraged at the price for the kindle version. Out of principal I refuse to buy the book and won't buy anything over the $10 price point.
I'm back to free books at the library! June 29, 2009 P. Pisani 8 out of 32 found this review helpful
I love my kindle! The deal was the ability to buy best sellers at less than $10 per book! This book as well as other over-priced Amazon kindle books, I'll check out FREE at the Public Libary! Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for presenting a bait and switch tactic. Wireless books is the wave of the future and the publishers and authors should join the 21st century!!
Betrayed by Amazon June 29, 2009 ChefJeff (Sunny, warm South Jersey) 9 out of 36 found this review helpful
Amazon's fine print has always said "unless otherwise marked" but this pricing is far different from what I and thousands of others expected when we bought our Kindles. I have one more book to read then I'll be selling my Kindle on eBay.
Over priced June 29, 2009 Thomas S. Conklin (Greensboro, NC United States) 7 out of 29 found this review helpful
I absolutely agree that paying over $10 for a kindle book is outrageous. The Literary Guild is selling it for 13.99 and you can sell it when you're done. I love the kindle but can do without the price gouging.
