5 out of 5 stars Wow!   April 25, 2006

At our library we have a section for New Arrivals. I happened to find Twilight and was awed by the cover art, I figured anything with such beauty on the cover had to be worth reading. I was so right.Twilight may be marketed as a teen read but speaks to all ages. Bella is someone any woman can relate to and I found myself thinking about her and Edward days after I finished the book. I have read alot of horror romance over the years and Twilight ranks among the highest. Borrow it, Buy it, whatever just make sure you read it!

5 out of 5 stars One of the best Vamp books ever!!!!   April 20, 2006

This book was simply incredible, breath taking, and beautifully written. I have read this book at least five times and I feverishly wait for the next installment. Meyer is sure to become one of the best vampire book authors of our time. I cannot express how much pity I hold for those that have not yet read this amazing novel. The main character, Bella after personally removing herself to a place she undoubtfully detests, she discovers the godlike Edward Cullen and his family. Through out the novel they fall in love and he becomes her saviour, literally. Bella is seriously accident prone, and although Edward saves her continuously, he is the one that causes the most danger. Alas, the comic irony in this beautifully written love story. Bella and Edward are trully pasionate and loving characters you are sure to love. After having many moments of bliss, Bella is placed in more danger than ever. Love causes her to make a truly suicidal decision that she narrowly escapes, thanks of course, to Edward. I cannot count how many nights this book kept me up as it is sure to do for any reader. It is a must read for any true vampire fan. I sincerely hope that Bella becomes a vampire, instead of realizing the loss of her humanity is too big of a price to pay because please, are you not honestly fed up with stories that give you such a hope and quickly yank it away? But to keep to the topic this book is a delight to read and hard to keep away from, personally, I had to ask someone to hide it from me.

5 out of 5 stars A True Work of Art   April 18, 2006

I cannot even begin to describe what a blessing this book was for me. A fresh breath of air, laced with romance, adventure, danger and mystery, I could not put it down. Meyer turns fantasy into reality, and I never wanted to stop reading, nor did I want to leave Forks. She instantly hooks you with entrancing words and grasping your curiousity. Forget renting that movie or walking the dog. Once you start reading, Bella, Edward, and the rest of the characters take over, and there's no turning back. A fabulous masterpiece, Stephenie Meyer has enchanted the country with her writing, young and old, and we are begging for more of her spellwork. A+, this is definetely my favorite book.
