Great story February 8, 2010 Robert Harms (VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON, US) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Not quite done with the book, but it's been interesting to read about her background.
Its ok but... February 8, 2010 B. Brown 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
He completely neglects to mention anything regarding international policy and the way it absolutely effects US domestic policy. This is especially glaring when he talks about Economic policy and Energy Policy. He doesn't take into account that we already have WTO agreements that we must legally honor, regardless of how much we want to turn isolationist.
Other than that, its not too bad. Its actually quite funny-- and no, not because his arguments are ridiculous, but because he is actually funny.
Worth reading to see what the Buzz is about.
Going Rogue February 8, 2010 Robert W. Yerxa (Minnesota) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
Sarah Palin's book is a very entertaining informative read. Her open, honest style comes out in her book. What you see is what you will read about chapter after chapter. Had very normal American upbringing in a quiet safe hometown. You can relate to her very easily and she obviously had a good time writing it with support from her friends and relatives. I enthusiastically endorse this book!
Too much Palin February 7, 2010 Brunoi30 5 out of 13 found this review helpful
I'm not a Palin fan, but was interested to read about the campaign. Unfortunately, there is so much about her childhood and other stuff that I had no interest in that I couldn't make it to any of the good parts of the campaign. It may very well be a good read in some parts, but I couldn't tolerate the rest of the book to find out. She may have done some good things in Alaska, but reading a lengthy autobiography on someone I don't care about was practically torture. Definitely try it out before purchasing if you're more interested in the campaign than Palin.
Amazon Never Delivered Book!! Had to Buy Elsewhere February 7, 2010 Pork Chop 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
It's been over a month! NO Book. No response to e-mail request for shipping status. If you want to buy a book get it elsewhere where they deliver what you ordered instead of just keeping your money. Amazon customer service stinks.
I finally bought the book from a reputable dealer and the book was great...5 stars, 2 thumbs up, whatever!
