Got these to go with my Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. The work great and both bright and fast. There is no heat. The cool thing is the control unit and the light pods are the same mold so you can hook them into different shapes to fit any space. They work with ANY audio so I mostly just use them with my stereo. HexoLights rock and you will to with these.
