Bargain June 8, 2010 Duffer. (Conyers, GA United States) This was a free download so it is somewhat difficult to criticize a freebie. If you want a recipe book that is solely a compilation of pages of recipes then this may not be the book for you. There is a lot of non-recipe information in this book that is likely not of interest to everyone. However, there are some tasty recipes available if you have the patience to dig them out. The price is definitely right.
Glad it was free! January 5, 2010 L.A.D. (Shreveport, LA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It was free... if it wasn't, I'd have been extremely disappointed with this book. Basically, it describes the ins and outs of a slow cooker and its various parts. Um, hello... B-o-r-i-n-g. There are finally some recipes hidden inside if you can make it past all the technical non-essential components and workings of the slow cooker itself.
A mess on the Kindle January 4, 2010 Another Opinion (Santa Monica, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
They haven't worked this one out for the Kindle yet. The type is garbled and often incomprehensible. If you want this book, buy the print edition.
great for cooks who love the kindle January 3, 2010 Sue Donym (Pacific NW) This book has been great. I love the soup recipes and it is convenient to have this on my kindle as it is always in my purse. Just use the table of contents and navigation is easy.
