I hate this game November 6, 2009 Moon (Chicago) I reached a point early in the game that I could not solve a puzzle because my hands were not quick enough. No cheats available to solve this problem. Could not continue the game because I needed something to continue with no other alternative available. Into the trash it went.
The worst, by far!!! October 30, 2009 Lockgirl This is #20 in a series of games and is one of the WORST ones ever! I waited and waited for it to get better and it never did. What a waste of money and time. I will buy the new #21, praying it was just a fluke. If that's just as bad, bye bye Nancy Drew!
disapointing.... October 29, 2009 lila I know that herinteractive wanted to change the pace of their nancy drew game but I think that they need to stick with the old games. This game was VERY dissapointing and kinda dumb. I didn't like the fact that there was only one suspect. I did however like the fact that you get to see Bess and George. The ending left my mouth open. Anyone who played the game would get why. The puzzles were pretty fun but I got stuck on a few of them. Overall the game I geuss is ok........ but NOT worth $20
Ransom of the Seven Ships October 28, 2009 M. Miracle (Ohio) A lot of the game had the same concepts used in previous Nancy Drew games and was somewhat easy like driving the car, climbing the mountain, boating, questioning people, feeding and getting hints from the parrot, searching for hidden clues, and connecting/placing items in order. The scenery is realistic and colorful and has you searching for clues outdoors which is enjoyable especially on a tropical island. This game strategy was well planned and very entertaining.
A BIG dissapointment October 2, 2009 Nancy Drew Fan!! (USA) After watching the trailers for this game I was really excited to start playing it. The plot looked great, I was excited to finally see Bess and George in a game and I thought, since this is HeR Interactives 20th game, it should be great!! I was wrong. From the first couple of minutes of playing this game, I knew it wasn't going to be good. First of all, there was way too much 3rd person. I don't mind a little 3rd person, but being in 3rd person for practicaly the whole game?!!Characters... There was 2 characters. 2 CHARACTERS ONLY!!!! George Fayne and a beach bum. How exciting... Another big problem was the amount of puzzles. They were overly difficult and I didn't enjoy any of them. I had to use the walkthrough for almost the whole game. The hourglass puzzle at the end of the game was impossible. I tied using walkthroughs, hints from HeR Interactives hints and tips board, and everyone in my family tried the puzzle. And I still didn't get it. So I never finished the game. I have never not finished a Nancy Drew game before, and I have played all but 3 of the games. I wanted to see the rest of the game, so I watched the walkthrough. While I was watching the ending, I was really confused and didn't understand what was going on. All I'm going to say is that HeR Interactive should have put something on the box of this game saying to not play this game unless you have played all of the games before it so that you don't get another game spoiled for you. And of course, 1 of the games that I haven't played was the one that was spoiled.
So long story short:
I wish I had my $20 back!!
