Fine for kids; definitely not for adults (or at least not full-size men) November 18, 2009 A. Everett Logan (New Hampshire, USA) As others have mentioned, this stool is only $30, so no one should expect the same quality as a true drum stool one would purchase from a bona fide music shop. However, the manufacturers should make it clear that this stool is designed for little ones, not for grown men. Perhaps they don't think grown men are or should be playing video games! No matter how tightly I tightened the nut that holds the legs up, the legs would collapse out (thereby sinking the stool down) when I sat on it. The cushioning is flimsy and completely compresses, so I end up essentially sitting on a hard plastic plate. I should mention here that I am a big guy, but not overweight. I am 6'3" and weigh about 215. For me, this stool is useless. I'm sure it would be fine for someone weighing 100 lbs. or less.
Ok throne November 11, 2009 Q (USA) The throne is ok. I expected more padding in the seat for the price. It is fairly comfortable, yet not luxurious. Height adjustment is a little cumbersome, but ok.
Perfect for RockBand on the go. October 4, 2009 Michael J. Wilson (North Hills, CA USA) Every year my friends and I take a train up the west coast from LA to Seattle for the Penny Arcade Expo. One thing we do to pass the time on this 34 hour trip is set up RockBand in the arcade car. Previous years had us sitting on someone's luggage, to varying success. This year some one brought along the Rock Throne Drum Stool. It fit easily into his carry on luggage and it did the trick nicely. I understand that he also used it in his hotel room.

Wish I could give less than one star. I couldn't get this product to work with Vista. I don't think it's compatible. Now, it works perfectly with my Xbox 360, but when I try it with my PC, nothing. I'm sending this piece of junk back. Now if you're running Windows 2000, XP, or if you have a Mac or game console, this may work perfectly for you. But as for us Vista users, don't bother, you're just wasting your time and money on an incompatible piece of garbage.
***Update: for those of you out there with no sense of humor, this review is what we people with a personality refer to as "sarcasm". If you are confused about the meaning of "sarcasm", Google it.
K Thanks :)
Makes Rockin out more fun! June 17, 2009 Kikey C. Trujillo (Rancho Cucamonga, CA USA) Great stool! Didn't expect it to look as professional. We feel like real drummers now!
