Product Description The delivery train has come to town, dropping off all of the animals for the Bobland Bay Zoo. Unfortunately, there is no Bobland Bay Zoo. Monkeys have moved into the school playground, alligators are in the swimming pool, and the lion has taken over the Mayor's office. Work double-time with Bob and his Can-Do Crew to get the zoo built and make homes for all the animals. This game teaches: pattern recognition, memory, hand-eye coordination, spatial recognition, shape and color identification, planning and time sequencing, and problem solving.

| Customer Reviews: too easy. very little contents August 26, 2009 a home owner 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this software is way too simple and very little contents. I bought it for my 3 year old because the description said you can build a zoo. It's totally misleading. Only 4 things you can do with it:
1. simple color matching (red match red, yellow match yellow),
2. simple pattern matching ( square match square, circle match circle)
3. simple building plan ordering ( 1st is just a rectangle, 2nd has walls on it, 3rd has roof on it. now order them)
4. simple pattern recognintion. ( picket fances. 1st is red, 2nd is blue, 3rd is green, 4th is red, what should next one be?)
the first 3 activities are too simple, kids know them by 2. Only the 'pattern recognition' part that some of the less obvious orders my son did not make the correct choice on 1st try.
My son totally lost interests after playing it once because it was just too easy

This is a good game for the price, I think it could use some more content/games but its still a good value & my son enjoys it:-)

Cheerful cartoony graphics add a bright touch to this gentle and family-friendly game January 16, 2009 Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Rated as appropriate for gamers in early childhood by the ESRB, Bob the Builder Can-Do Zoo is an educational computer game by the creators of "Diner Dash", available on CD-ROM for Windows and the Macintosh. The latest job for Bob and the Can-Do crew involves building a new home for the animals of Bobland Bay Zoo, a task that involves problem solving, critical thinking, object classification, planning and time sequencing, pattern/size/shape/spatial recognition, and shape/color identification. Cheerful cartoony graphics add a bright touch to this gentle and family-friendly game, which allows children to learn in both English and Spanish.
Great for little computer users. December 21, 2008 L. B. Jansen (Jacksonville, FL) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was a present for my 4 year old grandson. He enjoyed playing the game the few days he was visiting. I don't know how often he will choose to play. He needed a little help to get started playing. It looks like he'll be able to play by himself after a few sessions. A kid-friendly mouse helped. I'm pleased that the "educational value" is pattern recognition and problem solving rather than just ABCs and 123s. I enjoyed watching him sing along with the "Bob the Builder" song.
