3 out of 5 stars Razer Lycosa, a lot of sexy, but flawed   October 26, 2009

The Razer Lycosa is very, very nice looking out of the box, shiny and whatnot. but there are more finger prints on it 10 minute after you open it then in an episode of CSI.

the software makes it really easy to change default keys to macros but what keys can you macro if you play an fps? every key within 2 keys of WASD is used, that only leaves the keys to far away to use as macros. the only key i could find to use was the caps-lock.

ghosting NEVER works, you can only press 2 keys at a time, and thats iffy at best.

the entire media pad likes to think its one button, the previous track button, even the Razer logo is previous track when it wants to be.

the back lighting is VERY bright, even in the daytime.

the mic in, audio out, and single usb are useful, but do close together for me and my area.

the only way i would recommend the keyboard is if the other person found it on sale like i did.

4 out of 5 stars VERY FAST   October 12, 2009

Very nice very fast however the coating on keys is the worst smears off too quickly with in a couple of hours of gaming something like this should last alot longer.
takes on dirt or smears just as fast only time will tell but a gaming board should be alot tuffer.
My g5 mouse is two years old and still looks and works like new

I really like this keyboard, I only wish it had a light adjustment to make it just a bit brighter at times, but still very nice.

2 out of 5 stars Regret   September 11, 2009

Almost a year of owning it, I noticed that one of the keys rubberised finish has worn off. In addition, the keyboard often hung, with random keys not responding at all. I'll avoid Razer products from now onwards.

2 out of 5 stars Great board, if it works   September 9, 2009

My board, after a few weeks, started to act strangely. The backlight would go out then come back on, and certain keys would not register unless I unplugged the board and plugged it back in. I'm in the process of returning it to Razer under warranty.
