Great replacement keyboard November 18, 2009 R. Mcconnell (Lakeside, MT USA) My youngest daughter ruined the keyboard on my wife's Imac by spilling a whole can of Dr. Pepper on it, so a replacement was required. We decided to try something other than the standard keyboard that comes with the Imac. This keyboard has a lower profile and a nice feel to the keys as well as being easier to clean. So far it has been a great replacement.
I'm a convert... November 9, 2009 Catalin Dunnet (MidWest, USA) I struggled with what to get when my beloved chunky white Apple keyboard bit the dust. I like having access to all the functions on an Apple keyboard, but I did not think I would like the tiny aluminum model. After I spent a month window shopping and using an even clunkier old old keyboard, I finally bit the bullet and bought this one - I love it. It's sleek, has good motion, and it didn't take long to get used to the arrangement of function buttons that's a little different than my other keyboard. The only thing I wish they'd do is make the thing more liquid resistant - it is almost impossible to recover from a spill of any kind. So I'm on my second one... and the coffee is now better contained.
The Best keyboard on the market to date November 8, 2009 Sharukh M. (DFW, TX) even though apple has pretty much phased out the apple keyboard w/ number pad, it is still the best. at first i was going to get a wireless keyboard. But, after using the wireless version i thought that one was too cramped. i went with this one with my iMac. it is amazing. the keys are spaced just enough, and it feels so good to type on. typing is easier than ever. the usb ports are a big plus since you can connect a mouse receiver or a flash drive without going to the back of my iMac. overall it is absolutely fantastic. my accuracy has went up a lot after using this keyboard. a must buy for mac users who dont have it already
Perfect keyboard, not sure why I didn't get one sooner! November 8, 2009 Bikin' Brian (Bellevue, WA) I recently purchased a 24" LCD monitor to compliment my Macbook Pro. Initially I had been using a standard windows but soon realized that it is best to have the full functionality of an Apple keyboard. Got this thing and I love it. The keys are quiet and have a good snap to them. I also really like the body of the keyboard... Since it is made out of aluminum it is much heavier than a traditional keyboard so there is no sliding around on the desk. Overall I am very happy. The only thing I'm not happy about is trying to figure out who I am going to donate my other keyboard to!
Great keyboard, works for my MBP November 7, 2009 Syed Wasi (New York, USA) My recent purchase of a MBP, and i wanted to set it up with an external monitor/ keyboard & wireless mouse.
What better than to get an Apple keyboard? nothing much to say about, its pretty good and i think serves its purpose well.It would be good if we could raise the keyboard more with those things that come on PC keyboards.
Also the keys as mentioned in the earlier reviews are much less prone to dirt accumulation.Typing is smooth, and easy on the fingers.
Works flawlessly, if your' running leopard, make sure you install the new apple alum firware update for the keyboard.
