4 out of 5 stars A good product with one exception   November 16, 2009
Dennis M. Worlow
A better product than many of the mouse pads on the market. It provides a relatively smooth fabric surface with just enough texture to allow concise and quick response when using an optical mouse. I found it especially good for gaming and graphics work. It is also large enough to provide enough area for my work space.

On the con side, however, it is a little too thin for my preference. It tends to transfer any defect or irregularities from the underlying surface. It also has a tendency for the edges to catch on the mouse glide feet of my MX-518 Logitech optical mouse and curl over. This is a minor annoyance that a little more stiffness would cure.

Overall, it has proven to be an good improvement when compared to other mouse pads that I have owned and well worth the additional expense for those needing a better than average mousing surface.

5 out of 5 stars SteelSeries QuickMass Mousepad: Strong and Smooth   November 10, 2009
johnnyboy (houston,texas)
I don't have much to compare this too but it rocks! It is very strong in built and smooth my logitech V470 glides right over this baby. The QuickMass is very thick and that is just fine with me. You won't be disappointed with this product and the price isn't going to break the bank, PEACE.

4 out of 5 stars Better than what I had!   November 9, 2009
Turp (St Louis)
I had to break down and BUY my first mouse pad in over 19 years. I have always received on free as a part of the computer package, freebie from a vendor or a conference, or someone getting rid of extra crap.

I bought two of these.

I needed a new mouse pad and started looking. I want one bigger than normal, but not huge. This one meets my expectations. If fits perfect on my pull out keyboard tray and the other on the desk and it doesn't look freakishly out of place.

It did come rolled up in the package like the other reviewers stated, so I was not surprised. What I was was surprised at was how thin it was. I think if I realized HOW thin it was, I would have probably kept looking. The waves in it have all but gone away, so that is not an issue. I just was/am used to the old mouse pads that were about 1/4" thick.

They work well and no issues with laser mice. Smooth movement.

They do seem to pick up a lot of dust, bits of paper, etc. A quick wipe and they are clean again.

Overall, I am happy, but the $10 price tag high after been given free ones so many years!

4 out of 5 stars Almost perfect   November 3, 2009
Raymond Falck (Manchester, NH USA)
Bought this to compliment my recent Razer Mamba purchase. Overall, it's a great mouse pad, especially for the money. It's large and pretty thin but does not slide around. Just wish they didn't ship it all rolled up. Ive been using it for three weeks and it still is a little wavy :/
