Amazon.com Fable 2 is the anticipated sequel to the popular original that sold more than 3 million copies. Created by famed game designer Peter Molyneux, Fable 2 for Xbox 360 features an epic story that picks up 500 years after the first game. It offers an open world environment giving players a massive amount of freedom to explore and play as they please, with every decision made contributing to the game itself. | Fable 2 Players: Offline: 1-2 Online: 2

You are free to roam the world of Albion any way you like. View larger. | Every Choice Has Its Consequences Fable 2 provides players with a truly immersive experience where a virtually limitless number of choices can be made, all of which have their own consequences, making each game unique. When you start the game, you choose either to play the role of a boy or girl, and depending on your choices, the hero will grow up to be tall or short, good or evil. Players can get married and have children; female player characters will become pregnant, which will then be reflected by their physical appearance. Early in the game, players are presented with a stray dog for a best friend, who will need to be fed and loved, and will accompany the player throughout his or her life. Depending on the player, the dog will change appearance and assist him or her in various ways, such as alerting of impending dangers and attacking enemies. Players inhabit the world of Albion and are free to roam the land to as they please. Players can use different expressions to communicate with others, such as taunting and laughing, and even belching or farting. As the players grow, so does Albion, reflecting the choices that were made earlier in the game. Every house, hut, castle, and dungeon can be purchased if the player wishes. Players can buy up all the land in a town and can become mayor, king, and even emperor of the entire land. Fable 2 presents a dynamic and free-roaming world that doesn't demand a player to take any one set path. At the same time, players seeking a plot line will find an epic story and quest that they can follow if they wish, along with many side adventures. Fight Using Different Weapons and Magic Fable 2 introduces a new combat system that allows for mastery of hand weapons, such as swords, long range weapons such as cross-bows and guns, and, of course, magic. Players improve at each discipline with time, and can combine different combat styles when they fight. Other advanced design features include tactical positional advantages that can bring new strategic elements into combat. Bring Other Players into Your World Fable 2 has a multiplayer mode that allows you to bring other players into your own world. Consistent with the rest of the game, the actions of these other players can be permanent and affect your world. You can explore and fight together with these other players, share treasures, and even fight each other. Note: Fable 2 will not ship with Online Co-op mode. An update with this functionality is rumored to be released shortly after the launch of the game. Xbox LIVE Arcade Mini-Games Gamers can play minigames through Xbox LIVE Arcade and earn currency that can be used in Fable 2 to purchase weapons, armor, and other items for the hero. Fable 2 is rated M for having mature content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older.
Depending on your choices, the protagonist can turn out wildly different -- male, female, good, evil, and more.

Good or bad, you decide. November 5, 2009 Lance (California) This game is entertaining, especially with the choice options. You can choose to be bad, good, or somewhere in-between. Not for minors. There can be sexual situations (hetero- and homo-), obscene gestures, and alcohol consumption. Players choice, of course.
Totally satisfied November 1, 2009 Pilar Joe Mata Jr. (California) I ordered this game for my brother and I wasn't expecting to receive it for at least one week. To my surprise, it was here in two days! Also, it was in perfect condition.
Great action/adventure game. November 1, 2009 Ian E. Mcgonigal (Yokota AFB, Tokyo, Japan) I got this game for free, along with Halo 3 when I bought my xbox. My wife had played Fable 1 and told me that it would probably be awsome. I was kind of exited to play this game because I heard that the fable games were based on morality, and if you did bad/good things it would effect your appearance.
The game is an action/adventure hack and slash. The the roleplaying element is based on what skills you choose, what equipment you equip, and how evil or good you are.
I played all the way through and was blown away. The graphics were amazing. The scenery was bright with colors and detail. There were only some cave scenes that I need to turn up the brightness.
The game mechanics have a lot of detail as well, you have a large range of options as to spells and abilities. It seems the best way to win the game is to pick one track, magic/ranged/melee, and just smash the skills your good at. It's easy to fall into doing the same moves over and over again for hours. That kind of gets boring without storyline or something to distract you from the repetition.
The storyline was fun and full of side quests. It is easy to steamline the main quest and skip a lot of side quests though. The first time I played through the game I skipped almost every side quest, I went back and finished them all. The majority of the side quests are kind of similar how ever. example being, here is a plot element, kill this group of people, return.
This game kind of reminds me of the Sims. You can manage houses and there furniture, marry, have children, and get a job. But, in addition it's a fantasy hack and slash, and you can destroy and ruin everything you build.
There are so many side quests and little small things to do the replayibility is awsome. There are opjects and objectives all over the map. You can spend ages trying to find all the annoyiong grargoyals, keys, demon doors.
My biggest problems with this game is that it was too easy, they should have emplimented some difficulty setting or something for people that get too good at it. I could be wrong though, I haven't played the DLC. Maybe the DLC is more difficult. The storyline is a tad too short too, I beat the game in just a couple go's.
Overall the game was amazing, just short of being perfect. The hype for this game is well founded. What other game can you score with hookers, make leud gestures at children, and steal from the poor. I aplaud the Lionheart video game makers over in England for introducing so much mature humor to the gaming world, and not being afraid to go there. I look forward to playing the DLC, and picking up Fable 3 whenever it comes out.

WAY TOO SHORT October 29, 2009 B. Deans I am a huge fan of the fable series. Coming off fable and fable the lost chapters. This game at its best was only mediocre. It lacked depth like its previous. Yes the graphics were better and the game had a dog as your pet. But thats about all it had. Game was too short way too short. The magic spells wernt anywhere near as many as the original fable. I was expecting much much more from this game. Character customization isnt all that original. Yes you change as you grow to look more and more demonic or more holy but its only really sudal changes. The addition of family and children is a nice new thing but its subpar. Buying property and getting gold by doing jobs is fun and rewarding when your wallet starts bulking up regularly. All and all i can only reward this game with 3 stars siting that its way too short and lacks the gameplay and complexity of the original.
Solid game so far October 21, 2009 Mike G. (New Jersey) I only give this game 4 instead of 5 stars because it had a bit of a slow start. I've since gotten going further into the game and its getting better. I really like the concept behind the game. I like the large explorable world where you are free to roam and do as you please. I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan of rpgs, especially MMOers looking for a single player experience.
