Bug on First Action Screen Crashes Game November 20, 2009 musicfan28if All I can do is create a character, when the action screen loads up, the game crashes, booting me out of Baldur's Gate completely.
Also, is this supposed to have a manual? I ordered a "like new" copy, but it doesn't have a manual.
Exactly What I Ordered! November 1, 2009 Scott H. Shelton (VA) I used to own Baulder's Gate and Baulder's Gate 2 but they were lost. This package contains both and their expansion packs! It is in DVD format but the price was right, everything worked as it should, and the shipping was fast!
Very satisfied!
Scott
OK game for it's time September 14, 2009 C. Canabe (Earth) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like the game a lot great story line. Playing the melee classes was fun and easy but playing any of the caster class was a head ache the NPC's would run into the fireball or in the AoE (Area of Effect) Play control was difficult as well. I like the fact that it is set-up on an AD&D rules and world but got a little overwhelmed with quests at a quest hub. Required a lot of time to manage the quests. If you like hack and slash games this isn't a good game for you. If you like the in-depth RPG games then I recommend it to you.

The graphics are horrible, way worse than I expected from previous reviews. I didn't even play it, I was like no way when I saw my character.
Video Game Nostalgia August 29, 2009 C. Asprey 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my boyfriend. He was a big fan of the game when he was younger and missed playing it. But due to the advances in the computer world the game was no longer compatible with his system, until I found this. He has been playing it ever since. The graphics aren't as good as he remembers but if fulfills his sense of nostalgia. Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase. The price is reasonable and delivery was fast. If you played the game and love it than it is worth the buy. If you've never heard of the game before you are better off buying something newer with better graphics.
