Excellent November 23, 2009 Richard Baskett (Mount Vernon, WA USA) It's a great mouse pad.. it's huge.. a lot bigger than I was expecting. I guess I should have read the description closer :) Otherwise it works really really well and Im very pleased with it!
Great Mousepad November 17, 2009 Oscar A. Nunez (Los Angles, CA USA) Great Product i love this mouse pad except the control side doesn't seem to work with my copperhead mouse. Seems like it will last me forever because of what its made of.
Very Pleased w/Performance November 11, 2009 eeagle (Space Coast FL) I must admit I am not an avid gamer; I use a mouse primarily for photographic and office application. I prefer a comfortable accurate adjustable mouse interface. I found my newer Hi-Res Logitech MX1100 laser mouse suited my needs, but had far too much friction for my taste using the freebie cloth mouse pads I had been using. I tried the plastic variety and found them more pleasant.
My downfall was accepting the Amazon invitation of the Ricochet Xtreme game download. I found I was constantly losing the game when I ran off the edge of my normal size plastic mouse pad (even at high dpi resolution). I was therefore interested in a mouse pad with a bit more real estate than usual, as well as a low friction surface. The Razer Exactmat met the requirement, and the performance and comfort exceeded my expectations. My preference so far is the "Control" surface side which has just the right amount of friction for my taste and needs.
The gel wrist rest "Exactrest" is oversized and a comfort plus as well; it is not attached so can easily be removed if desired.
I was somewhat reluctant to order the Exactmat after reading several reviews where the aluminum interfered with wireless mice, and many even experienced problems with wired "laser" mice. I must admit I have experienced no problem in this regard, whatsoever. The MX1100 is a wireless laser mouse and performs perfectly with the Exactmat mouse pad.
Shockingly impressed November 5, 2009 Roberto Hernandez (Los Angeles) I'll admit I bought this on accident trying to buy the actual razor mouse. When it came and I had realized the mistake I was pissed, but figured I've give it a shot. I thought, how could any mouse pad be worth 30 bucks. The answer however was it definite was worth it.
Highly recommend for any serious gamer who's tired of getting his mouse caught on uneven surfaces or having a less than optimal mouse control.
The only con I can think off is its still pricey for a mouse pad, and the "razer" snake logo on the wrist rest rubs off after a while but it's purely cosmetic.
Fragtastic September 22, 2009 B. Mitchell (Indiana, United States) This mat really does the job with my Logitech G5. I love the speed surface, I feel like my mouse is literally flying across it. And the wrist rest is exactly what I needed since my mousing area is somewhat elevated from my chair arms. All in all, this is a top quality product and I believe it makes me a better gamer.
