5 out of 5 stars Fun game!!!   July 30, 2009
Sarah
This is a really, really fun game! It's more of a level type game, there isn't much creativity expression in the game. It requires a lot of concentration and attention. It would be kind of fun if you could be more involved in the game.
It's a great game for people ages 8 to adult, this isn't a kiddie game adults would find it fun too, and maybe even a little challenging.
Overall it's a fun game and worth the money.

3 out of 5 stars Descent Repetative Time Killer   March 26, 2009
J. Jackson
You take and place the order, pick-up and serve the food, bring check and collect dishes, again and again-thereby the repetition. This is OK, as with most arcade games the challenge is in doing the repetition quickly and efficiently to advance to the next level. There are 2 modes to play in.
Career mode starts you with 1 diner and as you master your server techniques you get better tips and make more money. At certain increments you receive upgrades for your diner. Unfortunetly you have no say, so you get what the game gives you. Once you level out you get a new diner, trickier customers and more upgrades.
In free mode you have 5 stars and serve until you upset enuf customers to lose all 5. In this mode you have control over what upgrades you can get and the pace can get hectic, which is fun. I found myself wanting to continue just to see how fast I could go and what upgrades I would get next.
So it can be addictive but does get stale, especially if you get stuck at a level. However Ive taken a few weeks off and Im ready to play again! I'd say at $15 or less (hopefully less) its worth it. I paid $20 for the download and feel ripped off. And its true, as another reviewer said, if you like Cake Mania you'll like this.

4 out of 5 stars ITS A REALLY FUN GAME!!   October 24, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Fun and simple   June 21, 2008
JR (New England)
My young teen absolutely loves this game. The graphics and the way things move are reminiscent of the video games we had when we were kids. Maybe not Pac-Man...but like an arcade style.

I bought this as a surprise - my child had never indicated wanting it. It was a great choice and is used almost every day. He is enjoying this right now more than the really complex games he has. It's really quite simple - and doesn't use up all the space on your computer.
