too much, too little June 16, 2009 R. Maize (Beaver, PA) This computer game doesn't cater enough to young toddlers by guiding them through basic computer usage. The opening screen is completely without intuitive choices (you have to move your mouse over a part of the screen for anything to move/change enough to show it as an option.
When you finally reach one of the games ... they are not anything remotely educational or even .... decent to play? Confusing to even an adult, really. I was disappointed, especially compared to the "older" games in this series.
Great for early computer learning April 16, 2009 K. D. Bretz (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game was purchased to help my 4 year old learn to work the computer/mouse. It worked & now I can't get him off of the computer. Very cute game with great graphics & songs.
classics are the best September 6, 2007 C. K. Collins (Tennessee) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been searching for this product for years. I had one when I put my Grandson at 18months on it. He progressed rapidly and it was a delight to see how he caught on. It is simple, because the child can hit any key and it will respond appropriately. I consider this the best program for toddlers, and believe me I have bought a lot trying to get this one again (I loaned it out and it disappeared) Thanks CC
Really fun! February 25, 2007 J. Kalis (Columbus, OH USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I ordered this through Amazon marketplace, and this is one of the best purchases I've made. This game is brilliant! It's so simple and fun. My son is 2 and I do have to sit with him so far to help him do what he wants to do. The music game has such wonderful sounding music with the different instruments sounding quite real, with harmony, and so many different songs. It would be worth it just for the music part, but there are about 7 other games you can play as well. The other reviewer is right, this will not run on OSX. You have to have the ability to switch to Classic OS 9. Luckily all of our computers will do that. I'm recommending this game to all of my friends with toddlers.
A Great Way for Toddlers to Enjoy the Computer December 17, 2006 C. Stodden 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This game is the best that I have found for toddlers. My child always wants to play the computer like the older children. With this game, I can let her play (she is 2) and not worry that she will jam or move anything important.
This game takes the entire keyboard and assigns a purpose to it, so that even the escape key is toddler friendly! (It was written before the start key on the keyboard was made, so that key does still bring up the start menu.)
She is learning names of object, shapes, colors, and how to use a mouse. The "Big Blue Whale" song has become a new favorite! I highly recommend it!
