Product Description
Take complete control with the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. Its 12 fully programmable buttons give you an incredible amount of flexibility and performance for the gaming-edge you've been looking for. The precise twist handle (for rudder control) includes an 8-way rubber hat switch that is similar to ones found in real combat aircrafts. Throttle controls rotate smoothly for extraordinary control. And the stable, extra heavy weighted base keeps you firmly grounded. The sleek design looks hot, too!

I am very happy with the controler. I still have to figure out how to program all of the optional buttons but very nice. I would recomend this to anyone. Great deal for the money.

1 out of 5 stars Too stiff to control... wrist pain as a result.   November 16, 2009

the major thing i didnt like about this joystick is that it is too stiff in the x axis or controling the ailrones.
after some time of using it i developed pains in my wrist.
also the controling the rudder in the yaw axis is hard cause it is too sensitive even i lowered the sensitivity in fs 2004 to the minimum and also the rudder control doesnt have much distance to move .
i tried to calibrate ,trying to find tips for improvement until i found more complaints about how stiff it is so i'm not the only one.
it has also an inclination forward and so i had to hold my palm pushed forward so it is more comfortable to put it on a small chair or something like that to ease controling it
well after this first and short exprience ,i think that a good and serious hotas systme is prefered in order to enjoy flight simming experince through joystick.

5 out of 5 stars Extreme 3D Pro on a Mac   November 3, 2009
Robert Hicks (TX USA)
I bought this for my IMac for a couple of online games. Plug and play with the Mac is great. In less than 2 minutes was up and flying. I love the fact that it is a good design and heavy enough so it doesn't move around on you. Cant say enough good things about it. And haven't found anything bad to report.

4 out of 5 stars THIS IS HOW YOU CALIBRATE THE LOGITECH 3D PRO !!!   October 17, 2009

I just figured out how to calibrate this joystick. I am using Windows XP. I assume it will work with all Windows operarting systems though.

Go to Control Panel, click on "Game Controllers", or however you get to your joystick settings. Hold down the "Ctrl" (control key) and the "Shift" key together - at the same time, THEN click your mouse on the "Properties". This should take you to a different calibration screen that you would get to without holding the two keys together. IMPORTANT - Click on the "Test" tab first. If you go to the settings tab first, it likely will not work. Without doing anything else after clicking on the "Test" tab, next click on the "Settings" tab. Then click on the "Calibrate" button below. Click "next". Click the thumb button on the left side of the joystick which should bring you to another screen. Then follow the prompts......
* On the "axis calibration", move your joystick in full circles, making sure the "+" symbol moves around the far margins of the square. After a few complete circles, click the "next" button with your mouse.
* On the next screen, click the left button on the joystick again, which should bring you to the next screen. Move the throttle lever back and forth a few times. Then click "next" again.
* On the "Z rotation screen", move the joystick to the left and right (rotate it) a few times. Then click "next" and then "finish" then "ok". Thats it. It should be calibrated now. Hope this helps everyone with problems.
