Save the day the Tonka way with Tonka Joe and a team of brave Tonka policemen, firefighters, and rescue workers. In Tonka Search & Rescue 2 kids help Tonka Joe answer the call to fight forest fires, break up traffic jams, save people stranded by floods, and rescue boats lost in a storm. There are 12 rescue missions in all, and kids choose from 13 Tonka vehicles and loads of heavy equipment. Throughout, Tonka Joe is always there to help kids succeed at their missions. Well this game is limited on play & it doesn't take too long to accomplish all the tasks. But on the other side it is a good game for a young child to learn how to use the mouse on.

My son played it for four hours straight when he received it, and could not stop talking about it. Another quality Tonka CD-ROM. Lots of variety and educational value to the activities. Creatively designed, looks and sounds great.

Very Easy to Setup! The animation is crisp and seemless. The missions are very easy to start up and easy to play. The items are easy to move with your mouse, thus very fun and easy for kids. Many of the missions, all of which involve heavy powerful machinery, are easy to earn certificates for completion which is a great confidence booster! The software also comes with a mini-activity book for coloring. Overall it is a great game and a must buy for young children interested in adventures with the machines used by Police, Firefighters, Mountain Rescuers, etc.

Very Easy Setup! The animation is crisp and seemless. The missions are very easy to start up and easy to play. The items are easy to move with your mouse, thus very fun and easy for kids. Many of the missions you can earn certificates for completion which is a great confidence booster! The software also comes with a mini-activity book for coloring. Overall it is a great game and a must buy for young children interested in adventures of Police, Firefighters, Mountain Rescuers, etc.

I bought this software for both my 2-year-old girl and 4-year-old son recently, both loved it so much that I had to make them take turns playing it. Both the sound and graphics are clear. It takes kids to many different rescue units, e.g. fire station, police station, etc., and shows them what equipments are required to carry out a rescue mission. Kids can also use a mouse to direct some vehicles or aircrafts to accomplish a task. My kids cheered for each other when they went on a mission and shouted joyfully whenever a mission was accomplished. I guess it's a nature that everybody wants to be a hero at heart. If your kids are young like mine, most likely they will enjoy playing this software.
