| Customer Reviews: cheap disks, cheap software June 12, 2003 Charles Simmons (Redwood City, ca United States) 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
1) Broderbund appears to use consistently cheap disks: there appear to be visible defects on the surface. My cd-rom drive (which is finicky) does not like their disks.2) My eight-year old did not find the game challenging. 3) The software did not interact well with other hardware and software on my system. CleanSweep thinks that the software is installing when trying to play the game; after changing my cd-rom drive, this program no longer starts up on my computer.
Great Game For Math Lovers October 30, 2002 Nice game but the bad guy gets away. I would have rated it 5 stars if the avalanche had destroyed the guy in the yeti suit or at least been arrested. This is the only complaint I have, the math is challenging and it is fun to solve the mystery.
Excellent help fot math June 5, 2002 Leopoldo M. Espinosa B (Mexico) 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
Is a very good game that help the children to make mental calculations and solve very differente puzzles. They can practice with decimal numbers, and fractions and they use logical thinking to solve the clues and find the suspects. I really recommend this software that will work for at least three years.
