Book Description Memorization of the multiplication facts is fun and easy with this colorful and clever book of cartoons and stories. Children learn to associate the numbers with the characters in the story. To teach 4x4, the story tells about Bart who loves to go hang gliding and can't wait until he turns 16 so he can get his driver's license and drive his 4 by 4. Children easily remember once the story is learned. The caption below the story says: Remember: you have to be 16 to drive a 4x4. There are cartoons and stories for all the difficult facts, ie. the 3's, 4's, 6's, 7's, and 8's. Tricks are are used to teach the easier ones ie. 1's, 2's, 5's, and 9's. Kids love the stories and will never forget "You have to be 16 to drive a 4 by 4, (4x4). Over 500,000 copies have been sold to schools in the US since 1992.

PLEASED,PLEASED, AND MORE May 13, 2008 This product was as it stated. It was not only educational but it got my daughter interested in the Times. Times Tables must be learned. This book will take a load off of your shoulder (That's my opinion ). L.McNew
My son loves this book! April 22, 2008 He actually remembers the stories and pictures...most importantly the times fact that goes with it!!! Although this book does not include all of the facts, my son really liked the bright colors of the pictures.I also ordered "Memorize in Minutes" which does have all of the facts, but in black and white format. I like using both, it mixes it up a little. By the way, we use this as part of our home school daily lessons. The only reason it didn't rate 5 stars was because it doesn't include all facts!!
Excellent! March 18, 2008 My third grade daughter is struggling with her times tables. I bought this book to help her learn. She loves the stories and wants to read the book all the time. When I reminder her that 6x3 is the story about Big Foot, she says, "Oh, that's 18!" right away. The only problem is she doesn't always remember which story goes with which times fact. But as soon as I tell her which story it goes with, she knows the answer. She has ADD, so that might be a factor. This teaches the times facts from 0's through 9's. I highly recommend it.
Easy Learning December 31, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son, who hates school, actually enjoyed learning his times tables! We read a section each night for a couple of weeks. He painlessly learned multiplication. He even passed his "timed" times table quiz. He usually struggles with memorizing. This book was an awesome learning tool!
Great book December 8, 2007 We've really enjoyed using this book to learn multiplication. The visuals help my daughter to recall the facts quickly.
