Itâs summer vacation, the weatherâs great, and all the kids are having fun outside. So whereâs Greg Heffley? Inside his house, playing video games with the shades drawn. Greg, a self-confessed âindoor person,â is living out his ultimate summer fantasy: no responsibilities and no rules. But Gregâs mom has a different vision for an ideal summer . . . one packed with outdoor activities and âfamily togetherness.â Whose vision will win out? Dog Days November 21, 2009 T. Chipo (IL) Jeff Kinney rocks these books are the best my son can't wait for the next book to hit
Reading is fun! November 20, 2009 Johnny Heering (Bethel, CT United States) This is the fourth book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and the the first one to take place during summer vacation, rather than during the school year. Greg Heffley manages to get into just as much shenanigans out of school as he does in school. Another extremely funny book.
The funniest book on EARTH! November 20, 2009 This book is hilarious! Everyone will enjoy this book and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Enjoy!
11 year old loves this book November 19, 2009 David R. Capps My 11 year old son could not put this book down until he had completed every page.
Dream come true November 19, 2009 Tax Lexa (Maryland) I had sort of sadly given up on my son (11y.) ever wanting to read anything - unless he was made to.
Reading gave me a lot of comfort and pleasure and I devoured a few series when I was his age.
Just as I had come to terms with the fact that he is different and that I shouldn't be imposing what I enjoy, Diary of a Wimpy Kid entered the house.
I couldn't believe it: He was reading night after night with the flash light on in bed. I thought the day would never come.
So Jeff; Thank you. Thank you!!
