Product Description Echoing Brain Quest's lively design and unique silhouette, each workbook is a bright, kid-friendly invitation to delve into schoolwork with pleasure. The books are jam-packed with hundreds of curriculum-based activities, exercises, games, and challenges in every subject, but with a special emphasis on the core competencies of math and language skills. They're clear, they're interactive, colorful, and varied. Information is layered throughout the text. Kids will write, draw, solve, connect, add hands to the clocks' faces, and color in the fractional shapes. Six titles comprise the series, Pre-k through Grade 4; each is a substantial 320-page, full-color book. In addition, each title comes with a pull-out poster, more than 200 stickers, and 100 all-new Brain Quest questions and answers. Even the posters are keyed into the curriculum in second grade, children study the U.S. states, so the Grade 2 poster will be of the U.S.A., with all capitals, state flags, and state facts.

Great supplementary materials! November 11, 2009 Sabrina L. Williams (Germantown, MD) Bought this for my 4 yr old son as a supplement to work he is doing in his Pre-K class. He does a few of the worksheets each night. He really enjoys doing them. The colors and pics are vibrant colors and seem to be both challenging and fun for him. The only thing I don't like about the book is that each section (ie, letters, numbers, patterns, matching, etc) are all grouped together. Hence, each night, I feel like we are always flipping through the book trying to find where we left off in another section. I would prefer if all of the materials were varied throughout the book. Nonetheless, this is a great book and a great value!
Brain Quest workbook (kindergarten) September 10, 2009 Jackie O (UK) My five year old loves this book. Even though he knows his ABCs, 123s sorting etc, this is like a revision book for him. He just can't get enough of this book. What a great resource for kids.
Kindergarten September 8, 2009 Lisvette Taveras (Westbury, LI USA) Great book to prepare your toddler for school. It has many different ways of keeping your child entertained and learning.
We Love It! March 29, 2009 Cherise Everhard (Michigan, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son tends to lose his lessons if he doesn't practice them; he also isn't one who enjoys learning. I have tried to trick him into doing things that are fun, but also will help him practice the things that he needs to learn and take with him after Kindergarten, and it doesn't take him long to see through the fun to the work.
My husband and I have bought a ton of programs for the computer and many workbooks. This is the first workbook he actually enjoys doing. Mixed in with the obvious lessons meant to educate are some activities that also teach but he thinks are just for fun. For example, there are pages to practice and write your letters, then in between those pages you have some mazes and pictures that are color by letter. He thinks they are just for fun, a break in between the learning.

This has a lot of activities to keep your child occupied and his brain working. As soon as he is done with this one I plan on getting the one for the 1st graders. It's a sturdy book with colorful pages and large print. It's been very helpful for our family keeping our son interested in learning. Highly recommended.
The most engaging and colorful workbook I ever found March 2, 2009 Nisha S. (TX United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful book. The exercises are excellent and engaging.
My 4 1/2 year son doesn't like reading books at all but he finished this workbook within 2 weeks.
I would like to buy more copies for gifting.
