Product Description Starred Review. Bestseller Suarez's sequel to Daemon (2009), in which the late, mad-genius game designer Matthew Sobol launched a cyber war on humanity, surpasses its smart, exciting predecessor. This concluding volume crackles with electrifying action scenes and bristles with intriguing ideas about a frightening, near-future world. Sobol's bots continue to roam the Internet, inciting mayhem and siphoning money from worldwide, interconnected megacorporations out to seize control of national governments and enslave the populace. FBI special agent Roy Merritt is dead, but still manages to make a dramatic comeback, while detective Pete Sebeck, thought to be executed in Daemon, rises from the supposed grave to lead the fight against the corporations. What the trademark letters affixed to the title signify is anyone's guess. Those who haven't read Daemon should read it first. The two books combined form the cyberthriller against which all others will be measured. (Jan.)

Kiss My Math June 16, 2010 rhinestonerev I bought this for my 12 yr old grandson based on an interview with the author.
He said that it made math more fun and understandable.
Great book June 13, 2010 Diane Nisbet (Bangor, ME 04401) This book explains things in an easy to understand way. My daughters math tutor loved it when she saw it.
math book May 27, 2010 Herbert L. Anderson (Rogersville, Tennessee United States) a good book, explains introductory math in an easy to understand way that children understand. A little rambling on at times but that is easy to ignor.
A unique presentation March 3, 2010 Steph Oppenheim (NYC, N.Y.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tutor math at an inner city high school. I've had five girls buy the book and they all improved their math scores. I am looking forward to Danica's upcoming book this August: "Hot X: Algebra Exposed!" Danica is a role model that I think should be introduced to every teen age girl.
Good idea March 2, 2010 Rebecca (Iowa) I have this book and "Math Doesn't Suck" for my daughter. She read the first book when she was 9 and loved it. We got the second book when she was 11 and missed the mark a bit - it's too easy. If your daughter is at the point where these books will challenge they are great and I highly recommend them.
