When play time is done, the magnetic pieces store on the barn. The carrying handle makes it easy to tote. Requires 3 "AAA" alkaline batteries (included) and includes an automatic-shutoff feature.
Amazon.com Product Description Moo! Oink! Bow-wow! Toddlers from one to five years old will love making wacky animal combinations with this LeapFrog Magnetic Animal set. This toy teaches kids all about animals, as it plays learning songs, fun facts, and sounds. Toddlers can make up to 25 combinations with this magnetic puzzle, and it can be played with on the refrigerator or floor. When two matching pieces are inserted into the farm, a cheerful electronic voice says the animal name. If the pieces mismatch, the toy creates a silly name for that animal. Matches are positively reinforced and the toy makes mismatches seem funny rather than wrong. When set to music mode, Farmer Tad plays five banjo tunes for a real barnyard hoe-down. Down on the Farm The Fridge Farm is a great set to travel with. All pieces store on the back of the barn and a carry handle allows easy transport from place to place. The toy's resilient construction withstands wear and tear and holds up nicely to rough child play. With this toy's open-ended format toddlers can create any hilarious combination they choose. It features strong magnets to keep it from falling off the fridge and a lightweight construction so the child can carry the fun from room to room. A handy volume switch keeps the music at an enjoyable level. This toy is easy for little fingers to manage and convenient for parents to store. It requires three AAA batteries (included). Fun Award-Winning Features The fridge farm encourages creativity, as your child mixes, matches, and makes zany animals. Bright colors and lively animal songs make the Fridge Farm a family favorite. Loved by parents and their children, this award-winner is both educational and fun. In 2004, it received the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal Award. Superior quality, easy-to-grasp pieces, and lively banjo tunes make it a great addition for any toddler's toy box. What's in the Box Barnyard, 5 animal pieces, and 3 AAA batteries.

Great toy! October 13, 2008 My son has played with this toy for almost a year and still has not gotten tired of it. My husband likes it because it goes on the refrigerator and doesn't take up space on the floor! It gives my son something to while I am occupied in the kitchen.
The best toy October 4, 2008 My kids find this amusing 24 hours a day. I don't even mind listening to it time after time. We have dropped this numerous times and still works perfect.
Nice toy, a few complaints September 25, 2008 We have had this toy for awhile and out of the Leapfrog toys it is used the least.
Matching the animals is fun for awhile but after the kids get that one down this becomes pretty boring. Even though it would not compliment the farm motif I think more animal matches like lions, rhinos etc. would have been a nice touch to keep the kids interested.
Also, it is LOUD. The low setting is plenty loud. The high setting I can hear on my bottom floor when my DS is playing with the set in his 2nd floor bedroom.
I'd prefer to use the Baby Einstien's DVD to teach the kids farm animals.
Fridge Farm is great! September 19, 2008 This fridge farm magnet is great - stores neatly on the front of the fridge. Our granddaughter loves it. Educational but a lot of fun too. She takes it off the fridge, carries it by the handle, plays the music and dances all the time. Great buy!
Her Favorite! September 12, 2008 Okay, so my one year old loves music... and so the obsession with this toy. She plays with it every day. Loves to dance along to the music and put the animal pieces in and out. Definitely a must have!
