Product Description
The Ladybug Game is designed for interactive play between parents and children. Parents are encouraged to read a lively introductory story about the adventures of four ladybugs Ella Yellow, Rickie Red, Tommy Teal and Olivia Orange. The object of the game is to help them find their way back home (a rosebush) after a windstorm launches them airborne and they land on a faraway dirt pile. The first ladybug to find her way "home" is the winner. Along the way, the ladybugs encounter various hazards such as tall grass, praying mantis', aphids and ants. The Ladybug Game was invented by Kylie Copenhagen, a first grader in California who loves ladybugs. Ages 3-7 years.

2 out of 5 stars what a bore..   October 13, 2008

I really like the box, the bright colors, and that it seems like a sturdy enough game (unlike some of the really cheaply made games out there). But beyond that, this game isn't even worth the space that it takes up on the game shelf. I have a 2.5 year old and a 6.5 year old. We have played this game maybe three times. Each game seems to go on for what feels like forever. It's just a dull dull game. It's a cute concept, good quality, but just so boring. I think I'll let my 7 year old write her own rules for the game. Maybe she can come up with something a little more exciting. We'll see :)

4 out of 5 stars Good family fun   July 8, 2008
This was a good purchase for my young granddaughter. The older children and parents play with her, so it is a good way to get the toddlers involved in family fun.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Boys and girls!   March 3, 2008
This is an excellent game and my four year old loves to play this game! It made a great birthday gift for her male classmate as well.

3 out of 5 stars CUTE, BUT LIMITED IN LEARNING POTENTIAL   January 13, 2008

I bought this for my four year old son and he is bored with it after playing it only a couple of times. We feel that Diego 123 is a much better numbers game. It's a lot of fun and can be modified for different levels and types of learning, including: counting, number recognition, color matching, learning the names of 40 animals, and categorizing the animals (as to whether they are swimmers, flyers, walkers or climbers).
