Product Description
When The Joker hatches a wickedly funny scheme to sell Joker-gas ice cream to the citizens of Gotham City, it's up to Batman to put an end to the laughing lunatic's practical jokes and to put The Joker behind bars once and for all. Roar into action with the Tumbler, Batman's massive armored crime-fighting car straight from the movies. Fire the rockets--but look out! The Joker's ice cream truck packs a missile-sized surprise of its own. Includes Batman, The Joker, and Joker's Henchman minifigures. 449 pieces.

3 out of 5 stars Owning Lego 7888   August 24, 2008
Building the Tumbler and the Ice Cream van took me 2-3 hours. It was made easy with the bricks divided into separate numbered packs, which will help those who are much younger, or someone who have not worked on Lego for a while.

The Ice Cream van is a bit redundant since I only desire the Tumbler but having the Batman's arch nemesis, the Joker is a must.

To sum up, it was enjoyable experience since it has been 15 years or more since I last toyed with a Lego set. I would recommend to both the young and mature Lego fans.

Yes! I am an adult or kidult (whatever the term coined at present is) Lego collector.

4 out of 5 stars Explosive Action   August 19, 2008

I bought The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise today, and I love it. The minifigures are detailed, and the vehicles are unique in design. The Joker's Ice Cream truck has a great colour scheme, the stickers are humorous, and the launcher works really well. The Tumbler is massive, with a creative frame and tons of detail that create a design true to the movies yet still fun to play with. Overall this is a great set.

5 out of 5 stars Cool Tumbler   August 8, 2008
The Tumbler is awesome, but the ice cream truck is lame (good only for adding LEGO pieces to my collection).

4 out of 5 stars Very little Lego for the price...   July 11, 2008

Our child seems to be quite happy with the product. As a parent I can't help noticing that he gets much more Lego material in other Lego series.

If you can, use your Amazon card rewards. Maybe it's cheaper in stores? I'm guessing that it's not (because of the upcoming movie).

5 out of 5 stars The Dark Knight Returns   June 8, 2008

Batman Begins was a great movie, and the Dark Knight looks to follow suit. One of the best things about the franchise reboot was the emphasis on realism over style. The Tumbler Batmobile was great because it was a military vehicle first and would actually prove useful to Batman. Not to mention it's a friggin tank and looks awesome. So when Lego announced their own version of the Tumbler and Joker's Ice Cream Truck, it was a must buy. Difficulty is moderate to easy and the construction is solid. Kids should have fun building it and playing with them as toys after they're built. Great buy for kids and Batman fans alike.
