5 out of 5 stars Pleased with quality and design   August 20, 2008
I decided to buy this toy for my twin boys first birthday. Even though it is recommended for ages 2 and up, they are already enjoying it. They do not play for it for a long time (5 - 10 min max). But every time they are in the room where the toy is they go around it and play with all sides, especially they like the bids on top, wheels on the side, and groves for small plastic handles. So far quality seems very good. I like that it is wooden (getting tired of the shiny, all-looking-alike plastic toys made in China). I'm only wondering if paints used on Cube are non-toxic. I did not check it with the manufacture and now am not certain.

3 out of 5 stars It is a good toy but...   July 17, 2008
I wish it was made like a table. I was buying it for a child younger than 1 year at the time. The things that didn't work out for us that great are: 1) it didn't encourage my child to be standing up, and since he was constantly interested in ptactising with standing up at the time he didn't pay that much attention at the level of his feet where all the cubes, wheels, etc. are; 2) when he was standing up with its help holding on the wires, it was falling on a side (it is hollow inside and not that sturdy); 3) it has massive corners, so falling near this cube was making me extremely nervous all the time.
Generally, the product is made for a good purpose. It is also made in the USA. I am sure my child will get back to it later. Such toys don't lose its purpose until closer to school maybe.
Thanks!

4 out of 5 stars Pretty Cool   June 15, 2008
My daughter likes the beads at the top the most. Everything else is just extra. The thing is built like a tank and should survive anything she throws at it. So far, it has.

5 out of 5 stars BEST LEARNING TOY EVER !!   May 15, 2008
This is by far the best toy my daughter has played with !! it has so many different activities that she rarely gets bored. the colors and the shapes are very stimulating for little hands and exploring minds. no wonder this toy is in most doctors' offices.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for my daughter   May 6, 2008

My daughter is 13 months old and she just can't stop playing with this thing. When we first received it, she played with it for 2.5 hours straight. It was time for her nap, but she wouldn't fall asleep. She kept wanting to play with it. She even started to fall asleep while she was playing with it. Finally, my wife had to pick her up and take her into the bedroom to nap.
She really likes the objects up top of the toy. She likes moving them around. She also likes the gears and plays with that too. She also plays with the abacus on the side too. I know it costs a lot but it was worth it. It will keep her busy for the longest time. Babies are all quite alike and I believe others at her age will love it too.
