Great Video on How Different Types of Power Work April 29, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It seeems like the focus of this video is not as much learning what the different ways of making power are but how they work. The reason I still remember this video after 4 years when I lost it, is because its actually very entertaining. They teach you in a way that basically seems fun to think about the kinds of power. This may just be my opinion because I'm kind of a science guy and I always like to know how they work, not just what they are. It seems like they taught it from a good view of the science.
New energy sources! March 13, 2000 30 out of 32 found this review helpful
This video is a great way for kids to think of energy as being much more than plugging in an electric cord. The MSB kids learn how to tap into the energy of the wind, flowing water and the sun. Although somewhat farfetched in its actually abilities to through rocks all the way up a mountain, it gets the kids thinking about a cleaner way to power up! And they are our tomorrow, so who knows what they will do when they are grown. Teaching our kids environmentally friendly attitudes is the first step!
