Awesome Awesome Awesome January 8, 2009 My 5 year old got this for Christmas and LOVES it. Her and her friends play at least for an hour at a time during a playdate. The product is durable and withstand very active 5 year old teachers.
Little School Marm loves it! January 2, 2009 My 7-year-old granddaughter requested this gift after seeing it online. I had purchased a similar product from another source previously which I thought was far superior, but it also had a big price tag. She was thrilled with this and although it seems kind of flimsy, who am I to say what's great or not? I'd say the kid should be the judge. She is especially thrilled with the pointer that comes with this set. She is a 1st grader and has been holding "classes" with her student sibling and cousins throughout the Christmas vacation.
Great toy for using imagination December 29, 2008 We got this toy for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas and she really likes it. It is great for kids that love to play school! My favorite part is that it stores all it's own accessories and then folds up easily so that it doesn't take up much space.
Preten- Play School Set December 29, 2008 This toy was a Christmas gift for my 5 yr. old granddaughter who is in kindergarten and loves drawing, coloring, making crafts, and playing school. She's always excited about learning new things. So, she has enjoyed playing school teacher, which includes ringing the school bell, drawing, filling out the report cards and learning to write the alphabet, which is illustrated above the marker board. The little clock above the board is helping her to learn how to tell time. This is a very educational toy that can teach little ones quite a lot. After reading other reviews, I did purchase a pack of dry markers for the board, because they are not included, and the crayons don't work as well on the board for writing or erasing. Also, the manufacturer's suggested age is 3+ years; however, I think a more appropriate age for this toy should be 4+ yrs. It seems a little advanced for a 3-year old. I like the way everything folds up into it's own carring case so she can easily carry it with her when she visits. I do recommend this toy for it's fun and educational value.
Great for my preschooler but Poorly made December 28, 2008 My 3 year old LOVES this and I like that it's educational. She loves playing the teacher :) The only issue I have with this is that it's poorly made. The things that keep the boards inside is fastened very poorly and ripped off. Other than that, it's great fun, portable and small we it's a big hit for us still!
