Product Description Reach into the bag to find the puzzle pieces that match the pictures on your bedroom game board. If a monster pops out, don't be scared...just tellthat silly old thing to go away. Then get rid of him for good by tossing him into the moster pit and out of your room. You take charge, and the monsters take off! 1-4 Players Ages 3+
Editorial Review Designed for competitive or cooperative play, Go Away Monster is a delightful game for pre-school-age children. It gives them power over fears they might have as they "rid their rooms" of scary monsters. By providing each of up to four players with his or her own playing board--designed to look like a child's room--the game cunningly avoids potential squabbles over sharing. Players take turns reaching into a "monster bag" and feeling for pieces of furniture needed for their rooms. If they pull out a monster instead, they can hide it or throw it away while shouting "Go away, monster!" Players may help one another or compete to finish their rooms first. --Lee Strucker

Great game for 3 yr olds January 6, 2009 Three year old learned quickly and couldn't wait to play with the rest of the family. It did help at bedtime to get rid of monsters. Great concept. Would recommend.
GREAT first game! December 31, 2008 I bought this game for my 2-year-old son for Christmas, unsure of whether or not he'd really be that interested in it yet. He absolutely LOVES it and it is, by far, his favorite thing of all of the toys he received for Christmas, even toys that he seemed crazy about while we were shopping! He understood and was able to play the game easily, as this game is nice and simple for little ones. He is so happy to get a monster, shouting, "Go away, silly monster!" every time he gets one and throwing the monster. The bedroom pieces are easily matched to their outlines. The box this game comes in is also great since he can carry it around by the handle and he has taken this out with him a couple of times when going for visits. He played the game with my 4-year-old nephew and my nephew enjoyed it, too. The board and the monster / bedroom pieces are made out of sturdy cardboard. Great value for the price. I'm so happy that I purchased it!
Adorable monster game! December 27, 2008 I bought this game for my 3-year-old son for Christmas. He's into monsters and I could just picture him laughing and yelling "Go away, monster!" As I expected, it was the first game he wanted to play later on Christmas morning. The game is super-easy to play and it's fast-paced so it holds his attention. We've played it at least 8 times over the past two days, so I can see this will be a favorite game for the time being! Very pleased with the purchase!
Monster mania! December 23, 2008 This game is the hot item in my preschool class. The children can't wait to shout "Go away monster!!!" They have a ball hiding the monsters in, under, on top of, behind items in the class. It reinforces learning of spatial relations! It's just terrific!
OK for really little ones December 6, 2008 I would say this toy is fun for kids 3 and under...beyond that they get bored before the game is over. It's also hard for an adult to play with a child because it's way too easy to feel the pieces and figure out what to pull from the bag. You have to throw the game or win every time. That's no fun because I love to play games like Candyland with the kids because sometimes you win and sometimes you don't!
