Amazon.com "I spy a spider, a baby in blue, memory games are fun to do!" If you and your kids enjoy the I Spy book series, then you'll want to play the I Spy Memory Game! It's like other memory games, except that there are a few twists such as differing backgrounds on matching cards, funny riddles, and fascinating details in the photo cards. The game can be played three different ways. The simplest version is the basic matching of memory card pairs. Kids as young as 4 can play, and no reading is required. Two slightly more complex games use the riddle cards. Instructions are also given for variations that involve playing the game as a cooperative team, playing riddle solitaire, and playing a matching game through associations with the objects on the cards. The I Spy Memory Game comes with 60 memory cards, 15 riddle cards, and an instruction booklet. --Marcie Bovetz

Fun for the whole family December 6, 2007 This is a fun game or the entire family. No reading is required. It's great for developing memory skills and requires kids to focus and pay attention if they want to do well. Our 5-year-old son had a ball and won the first game we played together and my husband and I enjoyed it as well. We liked that the matching cards are not exactly alike. You are looking for the same main object in the picture, but the backgrounds are different, which makes the game a bit more interesting and challenging than your basic memory game.
Good game based on the great I Spy books. May 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a decent little board game based on the I Spy books that my five-year-old has loved for months. We've played a couple of times and the game is similar to the books in that you're looking for specific small/well disguised items surrounded by many other things. Neither of my sons have asked to play it again, so it's been sitting on the shelf for a week or so, but I'm sure they'll pick it up soon and ask to play. All in all this is a good game if you're really into the I Spy thing, but it doesn't ignite any fireworks or make you want to play again and again.
I Spy...Spy Away! January 11, 2007 Our daughter (who's 4) LOVES this game! We also play a little game that we made up: We look at the pictures on the card and say "I Spy..." whatever is on the card. There's quite a few things you can do with this game. We even have the computer game "I Spy Treasure Hunt" that she started playing when she was 3---what a hoot!
I'd recommend the board game! YEAH!
great family gift January 9, 2007 gave the game as a family do-together game to go with an I Spy quilt I made for 4 yr old in the family. have heard family enjoys the game.
A Bit Difficult January 9, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fun game and easier if used as just a card matching game. It is difficult when using the clues. The picture cards are very "busy" and I had a hard time finding some items to match my clues. My 3 year old is much too young for this game. My 5 1/2 year old has a hard time trying to find all of the matches for her clues. It takes a long time to play and at her age it's not one of her favorite games. It's better for older children.
