1 out of 5 stars Nothing like bristle blocks   October 6, 2008

I was looking for bristle blocks at target and when I saw these I thought they would be just as good. Nope. They are horrible. I couldn't get them to stay together and build anything so I know my 18 month old wouldn't get much out of it. She liked dumping them out of the tub and that's about it. To top it off you had to get them in the tub in a very exact way otherwise the lid wouldn't shut again. It was a complete waste of money.

1 out of 5 stars Made my kid frustrated   August 26, 2008

got it as a gift from a friend of mine for my 2 yrs 10 mths daughter. She is really good with lego and can even do 100 pcs puzzles w/o help. but when it comes to this toy, she gets really frustrated. Even an Adult have difficulties in putting the pieces on and off. and it is difficult to know whether the pieces can stick together from its side. It is not as simple nor straight-forward as Lego.
another BIG annoyance is putting the pieces back in its box, You have to stick the pieces really neatly to get the lid clicked. which also brings a big frustration to my kid.
parents skip this and stick to the ol' reliable Legos or something that shaped similar.
