Better than its' predecessor, the Longshot. August 24, 2008 This toy is fairly fun, but not very educational. The durability of this gun isn't as good as the longshot's, BUT is way more fun! As ALWAYS... The "SCOPE", red light and aimer on the barrel (I don't know what it's called) are pretty lousy aimers, but they're better than nothing.
Pros: Customizable Extra clip storage Fair Price Versatile (sorta)
Cons: Lacks accuracy Aimers Flimsy Stock Not VERY different from the long shot Jams like crazy And of Course... Limited ammo types. (ONLY ONE?! RRRGGG!!!)
So the gun has ups and downs (mostly downs...)But it's fun! I like the pistol with no other accessories. I would recommend this to a friend.
Recon CS-6 August 22, 2008 This gun looks pretty good, and is light weighted, but the problem is, the gun is truly better WITHOUT the attachments. The Barrel Extention is just useless as it makes the range and accuracy worse. This gun jams more often than the Longshot. The laser sight is also useless, because it isn't accurate, and also its just a light. The flip-up sight is ALSO useless because it isn't accurate. But overall, the pistol itself is better than everything else put on.
This sucks August 4, 2008 The only thing that was o.k. about this gun was the look. the range sucked and half the time it didn't even shoot. Take my advice and DON'T BUY THIS GUN!
Good Nerf Gun July 29, 2008 This is a good little nerf gun. My kids and I love it. One of our favorite features you can customize it and swatch barrels with the long shot. Its a solid gun that fires at medium range at best. I like the clip idea and how you can change out the sites. At $20 its a better deal then the long shot, but since can't be the Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick in price or performance.
Nerf has done it again! July 29, 2008 My 9 yr old son bought this with a gift certificate he won at school. Soon after he also bought, with his own money, another Nerf rifle style dart shooter. He loves both of them and probably has nearly every other Nerf product on the market! He tends to lose the darts easily so a second set would be a nice add-on to the product. The complexity of this product was initially more challenging and he needed his father to help with the set up. The blaster is a blast!
