electronic money jar August 13, 2008 Cute idea. We bought it as a gift because we have one of a different manufacturer. Unfortunately, this one is smaller and less accurate in counting coins than our other one, so it's OK but not fabulous. Then again, it's cheaper and it fit our needs as a gift better.
Great fun for kids June 14, 2008 My son loves this bank. He likes to keep track of the money he has saved. It works very good. I have not checked how accurate it is but he says that as long as you push the coin all the way in it always counts it.
Don't count on it. April 1, 2008 The counting jar is a great concept. Accuracy of this particular jar is not always as precise as an adult would want it to be. A child is thrilled with the bank as it shows the total in dollars and cents and builds expectations. The coins must be placed in the bank in such a way as to not confuse the counting mechanism. Pennies seem to be a particular problem. Just avoid placing pennies in the bank and the counting goes well.
counting coin bank February 16, 2008 This banks is cute and works well. the only problem I found with it was if you go to insert a coin and it doesnt go all the way thru the slot, the jar still counts it.Its good to have an idea of how much change you have accumulated tho.
DWard72 January 18, 2008 Great Product, Counts the coins as you place them in. Once full and you need to empty the jar and start over, there is a reset button you can push to start count all over. I enjoyed my daughters so much, I had to go get one of my own.
