Thanks For The Comments! November 19, 2009 Ronsoni (Florida) I was getting ready to buy here and read the reviews to see why these are so popular and soooo pricey. Thanks to all of you, I take my chances on a local brick and mortar store like Walmart to save some $$$. If I didn't read the reviews, I would have been fooled and paid the high prices! I agree with one of the reviews that Amazon should be able to step in and ban these scaming practices. I love Amazon on all other levels, however.
Price gouging! November 19, 2009 Patricia A. Oquinn (Max Meadows, VA USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Please do not do business with these people that are ruining Christmas for our children. I think this outrageous price gouging should be illegal, These pets sell for $8.00 at Walmart (if you can find them). This particular "Mr. Squiggles is selling here today for $52.99! Wonder why you can't find them at retail? Because of greedy people like this! Don't play into these deceptive practices, you will just encourage more of this greed.
Not Being Suckered November 16, 2009 SmartShopper (Marietta, GA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
There is no way I am paying what people are asking for this mechanical pet toy. I can't believe parents have actually fallen for these pricing scams. What lessons are you teaching your kids? Do you really want them to ignore wasteful spending in the name of "keeping up with the Jones"? What a horrible thing to teach kids; especially in this economy.
Zhu Zhu pet is fun November 14, 2009 K. Harshbarger (Pgh Pa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this for my niece. She loves it and so does her dog. It really is very cute and pretty durable since the dog often runs away with it. It looks like it is going to be this years "hot toy" for Christmas. If you can find one, I would recommend grabbing it up.
Pretty lame toy November 14, 2009 K. Twain 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
with all the hype I was expecting so much more. What a dud! I think the "hottest" toys usually turn out to be the worst toys. My child played with this for 15 minutes and now it's collecting dust with all her other faddy toys. A real piece of junk! Not worth more than $5.
