| Customer Reviews: Horrible Toy!! Buy Liv World instead!!! January 31, 2010 Karen Corneil I purchased a Liv and a Moxie for my daughter for christmas. I thought we could evaluate which one was the better product for future purchases. The Moxie feet do not stay on during play, The hair is poor quality and frizzed immediatly, the wigs dont stay on because the original hair is not removeable. The moxie is just short of a Bratz doll when it comes to style. I just tried to set up the online access and the website is impossible to use, and that sent me over the edge!! The Liv World is the same price as Moxie and a much better value!!
Very Cute but Very Poor Quality! December 27, 2009 A. Titel (Lakewood, CA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am not usually on to write reviews but I thought since I was so disappointed in these dolls. My 6 year old daughter saw this Moxie Girlz Best Friend set and put it on her Christmas list. It was one of the things she wanted the most from her list and she was excited to share the best friend bracelet (that comes with the dolls) with her BFF at school. Well Christmas morning came and we opened them up. The faces of the dolls are made with cheap hard plastic. Their hair is course and feels very cheap as well. And it's actually sewn onto their clothes. The thing that really disappointed me was that the Blonde doll isn't even wearing pants......they are jean/leggings that are sewn together but only go up to the doll's thigh and hide under her skirt and make it look like jeans. The seams weren't even sewn so they immediately started to fray and it's almost like they aren't meant to me take off and redressed. Once you undress them, the clothes and leggings are really hard to get back on the dolls. Also the shirts and skirt of the dolls are attached together. Why? And poorly sewn too. To make matters worse the best friends bracelet my daughter was so excited, get was made out of cheap plastic. Horrible quality. My 10 year old got a Liv doll for Christmas and the quality of those dolls were great. We will be returning these cheap poor quality dolls ASAP for a Liv Doll.

They are peg legged! November 19, 2009 Amberly R. Zambrano 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 3 & 5 year old recieved the dolls as birthday gifts. Shoes are missing so now we have to look at the dolls peg legs. I looked online and in stores and extra clothing and shoes for the dolls are not available. Also, the clothes do not come on/off easily. A pair of stockings tore when I was trying to swith the dolls clothes. I recomend sticking with Barbies for younger children or for children who are getting their first dress-up dolls. These dolls are not very sturdy. THEY ARE CUTE and I do recomend them for older girls BUT NOT TO PLAY DRESS-UP.
This parents answer to Barbie and Bratz November 18, 2009 maximum verbosity (Ohio USA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I'm OK with Barbie, I really am. But she can be sort of one dimensional. And Bratz have always been banned from our home, that is definitely not going to change. So I was very pleased when I came across these dolls a few weeks ago while shopping for my 8 year old daughter. They're cute without being boring, they're clothes are more like those I'd allow my own daughter to actually wear and they're hip enough for my daughter to be interested in them.
I like the accessories that can be purchase to play with these dolls because they are creative (allowing your child to color, wipe off and recolor them) so I feel like I'm getting a good bargain for my money. They're as well made as a Barbie doll too, so if you're child takes care of them, who knows, maybe someday (a LONG LONG time from now), your grandchildren will love them too.
