why does the sound come out of one side only? This is a two-sided activity toy and has lots of different sounds/songs etc. However, it really bothers me that if we are playing on the side with the cow & blue ribbon, the sound will come out on the other side by the light-switch. It confuses my daughter when she activates the cow bell on her left and then she hears noise from the right. I think there should have been a sound function at the TOP so you could atleast hear it from both sides equally.
Secondly, although it wasn't too difficult to put together at all, why did they have us put in about 20 screws? Couldn't they have put together the red barn parts and just had us add on the legs?
It is a lot of fun though and I myself don't even get bored playing with it.

I purchased this for my 11 months old daughter and she loves it. I am looking forward to my now 2 month old being able to play with it too. It is a nice option for a toy multiple children can play with and the activities would be fun for children anywhere from 6/9 months to 18/24 months

We bought the farm for our son's 1st birthday after getting him the house for Christmas. The farm is cute and he LOVES animals and animal sounds. I was able to get the house on sale at Toys R Us for a similar price to what Amazon is selling the farm for. Dollar for dollar, the house is a MUCH better investment. It is quite a bit larger and has more activities on it. My son has loved his house from the time we bought it (9 months) until now and plays with it for at least an hour everyday! He does play with the farm but only for a few minutes here and there. If you are deciding between the two, go with the house!

I absolutely love this toy! My daughter can not stop playing with it! She loves opening and closing the barn door, and feeding the cow. If this was the only toy she had, I am pretty sure she would be fine with that! :)

This was Santa's big gift to my son (8mo.) for xmas and not only does he love it, but his big sister (3 1/2) does too. It is nice to have a toy that they can both play and interact together, yet has enough things to do for both to play separately as well. I would buy it again and highly recommend it to others.
