Product Description This buildable 250-piece playset sets the stage for royal adventures as King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table come to life. A real working drawbridge, hidden chambers, launching cannons, opening doors, King Arthur's round table and more provide the perfect backdrop for medieval merriment. The included articulated figures come to life with the "magic in motion" stick. Requires 2 "AA" batteries, not included. Castle measures 15" tall when assembled.

Never buy mega bloks again November 16, 2009 C. Tang This toy taught me a good lesson: that manufacturing tolerances are extremely important. Legos just fit together and you can build 100 block walls without fear of them misaligning or popping apart. Mega Bloks do not do that. In fact, when you try to assemble some of the sections of the castle, the upper tiers/bloks just don't have a chance to fit properly and often just pop off.
The details and construction ideas are nifty, just no chance to build properly due to the poor quality.
Good for family activity November 10, 2009 D. Smith (Austin, Texas) After reading the reviews for the Mega Blocks castle, I was very reluctant to purchase it; but I decided to because the price was very good. My son has just become interested in legos and the like and they can be expensive. I did experience some of the things other people complained about, but it was not too frustrating. Still good fun to be had. It was good to know what to expect so that we did not get too frazzled with the process and quit. I still would reccommend to other customers.
excellent buy November 1, 2009 Ramona Veveiros (Rhode Island) My son loved this toy. Although he needed help with it, it was easy to put together with directions. Had lots of fun with it!
Works great, once I superglued it October 20, 2009 E. Dobrov (Palo Alto, CA) We bought this for our five year old son last Christmas. Two uncles and dad spent a total of 5 hours assembling the unit. Then his twin brother bumped it and the entire castle fell apart. It sat in a box for 8 months until we came back to it. Then I decided to assemble again, this time with superglue. It worked great. Although very time consuming to build (I spent another 5 hours including glue time), it is a great castle. I would only recommend it if you choose to build with superglue or you will be very frustrated with how easily the pieces fall apart.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY September 3, 2009 Eva S. Miles I wish I had listened...bought this for [...]on sale from amazon. Thought it was a good buy. The pieces DO NOT stay together. AT ALL. Just makes a mess, frustration, stress. At least we got some men out of it, but not worth more than [...]
