Great for 3+ November 3, 2009 Crystal D. Black (Bentonville, AR) We bought this plus the space shuttle set last Christmas. These are the best toys we have ever purchased. They enjoy making new creations and the pretend play involved. Any time we have a guest over, they too love this toy. It is durable. Both of my boys (3 yrs and 6 yrs) take this toy out again and again.
My older boy loves Legos and this is a nice alternative. It is still construction, but his little brother can play with him and it is less frustrating.
The only cons we have found is that on the shuttle the shooters broke early on. And, although it sounds cool to have the rover rove, it means that they can't manually roll it around, which I think would be more fun. This was a great buy for the price we paid. I almost wonder what could I get this year that would even come close. Maybe I'll take the time to wash it back to white again and put it back under the tree!
Great complement to the space rig! August 7, 2009 carolyn (Canal Winchester, OH) If you get the space rig, you HAVE to get this one to go with it. It's the missle launcher and basically, it's a stomp rocket but it's so very cool. It has been loved by everyone who has played with it in this house, it's built VERY well, extremely durable, and is so well made that it doesn't even look as if anyone has played with it. Highly, highly recommend!
kids Boys who love rockets will July 23, 2009 M. Middaugh (Fort Myers, FL United States) Wonderful toy. Very durable - easy to mix and match for numerous creative spaceships. This is a winner in our family!
Great toy! April 29, 2009 Darlene M. Dodane (Columbus, Ohio) My 5year old loves this toy! The astronaut and alien are fun to blast off into space in the rocket. The moon pump makes it go pretty far. It is very durable. I am very happy with the product.
Great toy! April 13, 2009 Tanya Brewer My 5 1/2 year old boy absolutely loves this toy, along with another set that goes with it (Matchbox Mega Rig Space Shuttle). He has spent more time playing with this toy than any other.
