Cute boat set August 18, 2009 H. Whitmore (Holland, MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I happen to be a big Fisher Price fan so I am probably biased. However, based on my kids this was a good one for water fun. The boat floats, but (this surprised me at first) does not have a solid bottom. I was disappointed at first but now like it. It makes it very easy to pick and move the boat and while the boat is sitting in water there is a dunk tank in the middle of it. My kids have put different animals in there, but the main fascinations were the animals themselves. My one year old LOVED the walrus and the sea horse. When you turn their heads they "click". It was a big hit. He loved to chew on them too. My 3 year old loved the "Nemo" squirting fish, although it was a little more difficult to work than our other squirters. The other two animals got minimal notice in our tub but would probably be a lot more fun in the sand as they could make molds of themselves. I am hoping that the boat will get used for many years yet as we are now moving into Little People and this boat would work for them. After seeing what a 3 year old and 1 year old could do to this toy I would say it is HIGHLY durable.
It floats! June 17, 2009 AZ School Psych I bought this for my daughter when she was 1 year old, and a year later it still looks new. She loves it. By the way, this toy actually floats (unlike the Yo Gabba Gabba Bath Time Play Set we recently purchased).
Tubtime Tugboat May 9, 2009 Kat (Florida) My twin grandsons love this! It's made well, colorful, and as much fun out of the tub as in it, or in the pool.
A Really Good Floating Boat with extras. April 7, 2009 Cousin It 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This boat is great....for one it actually does float......all the time!!! The boat is designed so that it sits quite low in the water and the bottom is a mesh so the water is meant to come in to it. What holds it up is the red float all the way around the outside. It comes with 5 different toys an Octopus which is hollow and has holes in for the water to drip out, a lobster scoop, a squirty clown fish, a clicky seahorse and a clicky poseable walrus. There is a handle on the boat which can be used to hang the boat to dry out or as my son does carry it around in and out of the bath. There is also the rotating thing on the front which he sits and bats at and giggles when Mummy gets splashed. The entire boat drains out really well. I wish all bath toys were this well thought out and designed. Highly recommended!
Boring March 4, 2009 Sean Cusack (MA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The toy is boring because it doesn't do anything. It would be nice if it moved or the toys did something. Maybe if the boat made noises.
