Product Description Introducing Razors new and improved E-100 Electric Scooter offering powerful fun at speeds up to 10MPH!
Amazon.com Product Description Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E100 electric scooter. Boasting a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once the rider is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty. The buyer and rider of the E100 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters. Key Features: - Powerful fun at speeds up to 10 miles per hour
- Up to 40 minutes of continuous use
- Chain-driven, high-torque motor
- Twist-grip throttle
- 125mm polyurethane rear wheel
- Rechargeable battery
- Hand-operated front brake
- 8" pneumatic front tire
- For Ages 8+
- Weight Limit: 120 pounds

one happy 7 year old!!! October 30, 2009 momof4 (draper,ut) My son wanted one of these motor scooters for his birthday but I didnt want to spend [...] This was the perfect price, perfect color (blue) and perfect gift. He still has a smile on his face.
My daughter loves it! October 29, 2009 RER We gave this to our 13 yr old daughter as a gift about 4 months ago. She loves it! She scoots around the neighborhood on her own. It has also cut down on my carpooling.
She rides it to school at least once a week and to her after-school activities.
If the battery runs out while she is on it, she just uses her legs and scoots home as if it were a non-electric scooter. It's light enough to carry up the stairs also.
You have to remember to plug it in at night so it will always be charged. One morning it wouldn't work even though it had been plugged in all night. We thought the battery was dead but after some thought we pressed the reset button and it was good to go.
It goes a bit slower going up hills and at the end of its charge.
Easy to assemble.
My daughter's only complaint is that people stop her in the street and ask her where she got her scooter, how much it costs and if they can ride it too....
Daughter loves it October 17, 2009 Sandra Hornsby (GA) We bought this for our daughter for her birthday - it arrived very quickly and it is made very well - goes just fast enough for her. I actually wish I could get on it, but weight limit is 120 and I'm a little over that. She has great fun with it.
Wish I was Younger October 7, 2009 Squirrel Dad I really wish they had these when I was younger. My 8 year old loves her new scooter and had no problem learning how to ride it. I purchased the larger model for my older daughter and she loves hers as well. The scooter is best for riding on smooth level surfaces and does not do well driving into a driveway or up onto a sidewalk as it tends to "bottom out". The speeds worry me a little, but then I realize they go just as fast or faster on their bikes.
Great scooter for my 10 year old September 25, 2009 D. Aquino (Southern CA) Works great! All I did was attach the handlebar, charged it, and it was ready to go. My ten year old daughter has a blast with it. My only complaint...the rear tire should be like the front (pneumatic)instead of plastic and a little larger. Everything else is good.
