I purchased this for my 60 yr old mentally challenged aunt. She has really enjoyed this game!!
V-smile games Shrek the third October 8, 2008 Alta M. Neville (Binghamton, NY) One of the best items I have bought my grandkids, they spend time improving their hand eye coordinations, following directions and having fun at the same time.
V Tech Shrek the third February 6, 2008 Megan's Grandma (Huntsville, AL) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My granddaughter has several of the V.smile cartridges and this is the most difficult as far as user input. Controlling the direction that you want the character to move is nigh on to impossible!! As soon as you think you know what the game is using for directions(forward, backward, etc.)it will change. It is VERY frustrating for adults as well as the children it is supposed to be created for. There seems to be good educational value here if it could just be accessed.
I would recommend Dora, The Backyardigans, & The Little Mermaid as better alternitives.
