Stops working, like everyone elses! November 19, 2009 K. Orlando (Hopewell, NJ) I bought the VSmile for my daughter last year. It was fun for her and her younger brother and some of the games were educational. After 6 months or so, the machine would power up sporadically, and eventually stopped altogether. The shame of it was that as soon as the kids were comfortable playing the games, it died on us! So, I was preparing to order another, but with all the reviews commenting on this same thing happening, I will not be purchasing another.
cheap and shoddy October 23, 2009 haley joel (fort smith ar) We have had our v-smile less than a year and it already quit working. And before it stopped working completely, both controllers quit working at the same time. I would not recommend this product to anyone, unless you love to get ripped off.
fun, but stopped working August 11, 2009 becky (austin tx) Fun educational toy, but didn't last long. It stopped working and can't seem to fix the problem, so...
have the cartridges, but can't play them.
Great concept, poorly made (2nd purchase) July 30, 2009 F. Muray (USA) This is a great educational toy. My 4 year old twin boys loved it. It captured their attention for 2 hours at a time and they were learning alot. However, this is the second time I have purchased this item and it went dead in 2 months. I did all the trouble shooting and nothing worked. I am irritated because it's the second purchased and because I bought all the games to go with it and there's nothing to do with them. I've thought about buying the handheld, however, will it die in 2 months also?
Bitter Sweet July 29, 2009 Jaymi (Weston, Idaho) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the learning games for the V Smile, My 5 and 7 year old have enjoyed this so so much. I love that the games are a bit challenging at first, it helps them want to play and learn more to pass to the next levels. The only thing I do not like is; sometimes we can't get the console to turn on.
