Repetitive Game September 21, 2009 Amazon Lover (Chandler, AZ) While the concept is good for this game, they put too few questions in this to make it a game anyone can play repetitively. there are a total of maybe 30 questions that recycle over and over again - so then it just becomes a game of luck of the draw. I also couldn't ever get the remote programmed despite following the directions, but you can use your normal dvd remote too. The questions range from super easy to pretty difficult if you don't have the words to all the songs memorized. A good concept, but not enough questions. Probably best for 5 and under
useful April 24, 2009 Elizabeth Wong (LA) It's useful for keeping a child busy, but definitely not for younger children, and not for kids who aren't too literate in dvds.
Fun but Frustrating if you are an adult! March 24, 2009 K. Salser (Dallas TX) I read all the reviews before purchasing this on Amazon for my 5-year old daughter for Christmas 2008. The whole concept is really fun. You have all these "trivia" type questions they ask about the princesses in the disney movies. They have movie scenes and seek and find stuff. It is quite fun. My daughter thinks she is amazing at this. Probably because IT DOES NOT ROTATE THE QUESTIONS. The SAME questions come up time and time again. That is the frustrating part. If they would only have a shuffle to it the game would not be so boring. We have to act like we don't know some answers because in truth we have seen the same ones over and over again. The remote will NOT work. I wouldn't mind this as much if the game was less repetative. i only paid $[...]. I wouldn't pay more than that.
Disney Princess Dream Jouney DVD Game February 20, 2009 Elizabeth Gunnerson (Huntington Beach, Ca United States) This is a very poorly written game. The repetition involved for the age level asked for is beyond boring. We did not use it more that twice; two agonizing times.
Disney fun for girls February 16, 2009 jamspril (Park Ridge, IL USA) My 8-year old daughter received this game from Santa. We followed the directions and had no trouble setting up the remote. She loves Disney Princesses and enjoys watching their movies. She likes this game. It is quick to set up; compact and easily contained in the box it arrived in. She has played this game on several occassions with me, with a friend and alone or with a stuffed animal as the opponent. It keeps her busy for about an hour at a time. I would be interested in more games like this one in the future.Disney Princess Dream Journey DVD Game
