Product Description Trapecolo is a creative play set of 180 trapezoid-shaped mosaic tiles for building endless patterns. The set encourages imaginative skill and the understanding of geometry and basic planning. A simple, beautiful and engaging set. At HaPe, we draw on decades of child development expertise, which makes us sensitive to children's needs, whenever we develop and design a new toy. Our toys support children throughout every stage of development, starting at a very young age to help nurture and develop their natural abilities.

| Customer Reviews: Artistic fun November 21, 2009 Grant Van Pelt Trapecolo is a very clever way to introduce patterning, sequencing, and part-to-whole concepts while creating some beautiful pieces of artwork. Although a bit challenging for younger children, it is versatile enough to create enjoyment for the whole family.
Great workout for the mind! November 2, 2009 Kimberly Baldwin (Pittsburgh, Pa) My two year old and three year old love this item. It is very versitle and helps the imagination!
Amazingly versatile "toy" February 10, 2009 Jennifer E. Burch (Virginia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We gave this toy to my daughter for her fifth birthday, and both she and my 33 year old husband have been enthralled by it! The grown-ups have even gotten it out after the kids were in bed, and my 2 year old gets a kick out of it as well. I think this is something that my 5 year old will grow to appreciate more as she matures, but there's really something about making patterns that appeals to all ages.
The work on this piece is phenomenal as well. Every piece is well made and well designed. One small problem we've encountered is that sometimes the pattern doesn't fit exactly in the frame - too loose to really be propped up with the stand. But for using and putting the pieces back for the next go round instead of on display, it's a fabulous toy.
